Freddie Mercury's name was neither Freddie nor Mercury... discuss... It was just what i think funerals should be, and what i hope mine is in a hundred years-- instead of everyone being all sad and mellow in that grief-stricken state (which is totally acceptable too), everyone was just so happy to have gotten the family together, and so grateful for this woman's amazing, long life that they didn't think to be sad.  We all had as much time with her as we needed (she died at 99) and most of us were grateful at getting to be with her so long (especially her kids, one of which just now lost his mom and he's in his 70s!) that it was a celebration of her life and offspring instead of a mourning of death.     Also i say yay to getting to hang out with my california cousins again!!
