LolaJane YaBB Senior Member I wish I were an Oscar Mayer weiner...     Gender: Posts: 321 Re: what do you say yay to? 2 « Reply #651 on: Apr 25th, 2004, 3:16pm » Quote Modify Oh, I've got a BIG FAT YAY today.  So last night me and my girls Jessica and Monica went to go see the KGB last night.  (If you don't know them, SHAME ON YOU.)  So we go, we dance, we have a rawkin time, then we're hanging out after the show and Toby, the lead singer steps out of the club and literally runs through a massive crowd of people to get to us.  He tells Jess that he's noticed her all night and he really wanted to talk to her.  So we all hang and talk (he brings over his friends so me and Mon have someone to hang with while Toby got his mack on).  Then the band tells him he's gotta go (after like 20 minutes of flirtation with Jess) and he looked SO SAD and gives Jess his number (with a little heart) and asks her to call him when she got home.  So like 45 minutes later she calls him and he invites us all to an afterparty in Oakland, but Jess couldn't go because she had crew practice at 7 am (which was less than 4 hours away).  So he asked her to dinner tonight!!!     It's one thing if a lead singer of a rock band sees a pretty girl in the crowd and is like "hey, baby, let's go back to my place" and then she's just a groupie who had one-time sex with a rock star and has a good story to tell.  But this is a rock star seeking her out and asking her on a real date thing.  Even though it didn't happen to me, Jessica is now the coolest girl I know, and I am therefore cool by association.
