Jupiter Sunrise Forum    Talk    Talk Amongst Yourselves    Rokkitt Summer shows!!! « Previous topic | Next topic » Pages: 1  Reply Notify of replies Send Topic Print    Author  Topic: Rokkitt Summer shows!!!  (Read 74 times) Matt Guest Rokkitt Summer shows!!! « on: May 22nd, 2004, 4:51am » Quote Modify Remove Saturday, June 5th   7:30pm $6 JCC members/ $8 non-members   Albany Jewish Community Center   Trippin Squirrell Jamboree * Stood Up * Public Access   more TBA   -All procedes from this show are going to charity, I'm not sure what we'r raising money for this year (we just helped get the bands, and we're helping promote) , but last year it went to feed starving Israele (spelling, sorry!) children.  It's always a good time and a great atmosphere.   Sunday, June 13th   7:30pm $10   Valentines   River City Rebels   High School Football Heroes * Bum Ruckus   Suburban Legends * Two Dollars Short * Jump Back!   -We've had The Rebels booked since like March , and then Ted (step up) booked them for June 19th a couple weeks ago , which is probablly really gonna hurt our draw which sucks because we're just a couple of kids putting on shows.  Anyways, High School Football Heroes and Suburban Legends are two of the most feel good bands ever created! Suburban Legends is even touring with Reel Big Fish starting the end of June! Jump Back! is my new band and this is our first show! so please come out and enjoy yourself!     Monday July 5   7:00pm $5   New Age Cabaret   Swindle EPI * A Lost Hope * MUTT   Infected Minds * Madeline's Demon     Wednesday July 7   7:00pm $5   New Age Cabaret   The Menace Society * Velcro Love Machine * Save Your Breath   Another Dying Day * Horse In A Box     Friday July 9   7:00pm $7   New Age Cabaret   The Finals of the Previous Nights!     this is just the beggining, we have plans for many more shows through out the summer. DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT NOT GOING.     GO   TELL ALL OF YOUR FRIENDS ABOUT IT   but really i think everyone here should get a lot of people to go to the june 13th show because, as he said, this is the last all ages show for valentines and valentines is a great great venue for all ages especially and losing valentine's to the age thing would bring many tears to my eyes. You all should go and support all ages, because its the best way to put shows on and the best way to go to shows even if you are 18 and over.  FACE IT!   go and have fun because all of those bands on june 13th are fun as hell.
