To a lot of people, this post will mean absolutely nothing, so just move on. To the rest of you, please discuss:   Ashley was so much cooler BS (before Scott). I'm not saying anything bad about Scott. He's an allright guy, but dude. He turned Ashley into a total chick. I mean, the man-bashing feminazi got old after a while, but it had gotten to the point where she could laugh at herself and it was getting okay. Now Scott's gotta come and turn her into a chick.   Just a qualifier. This is a tirade against no one. I'm not blaming Scott for taking all the bad-ass out of Ashley. I'm just saying it happened, and it happened becuase she has a boyfriend. This is a personal attack on no one. Just want to know what everybody else thinks. IP Logged I'm in The Roman Candles --- www.theromancandles.com liv YaBB God/goddess     Gender: Posts: 787 Re: Dude... « Reply #6 on: Mar 5th, 2004, 8:50am » Quote Modify Matt does have a point.  But two things: 1) this particular forum has never had a limit on what topics can be discussed.  If you look back you will see an incredible range of subjects, most with nothing to do with the band.  2) The people doing the gossip are actually in college, not high school.    They are also among the most loyal, hardcore, and long-term fans of the band and if they want to talk about personal stuff sometimes, I don't really have a problem with that.  And I say this both in my capacity as new semi-official forum administrator and just as a regular member of the board.   Perhaps we can take a cue from Andy's discussion topic and broaden it into a discussion about how acquiring a significant other can change a person for the better or worse?  That is a subject that probably a lot of us can relate to.
