Someone to love, Someone like you. ~The Beatles Ashley YaBB God/goddess www.brianmay.co m     Gender: Posts: 3311 Re: what do you say yay to? 2 « Reply #760 on: Jun 17th, 2004, 9:35am » Quote Modify it's really interesting.  It puts it all into perspective and makes some of the laws seem like they make sense more.  He uses science and research to explain individual laws and it's really cool because when i read the laws a while ago, they seemed ridiculous.  But now they just seem like, well, duh, that's so obvious, why wouldn't anyone follow those?  For a while, since i took my course in old testament 2 semesters ago, i've been wanting to follow more of the stuff in the old testament, the laws that God gave to the Jews and that some of them still follow today.  I don't understand why Christians don't follow these rules, because they're all in the same book, they all came from the same place, so why do most Christians follow just the New testament and not the Old?  Anyway... you should check the book out, it's only 10 bucks at my GNC.
