Normally breeders don't sell puppies before they're at least six weeks old, but these people weren't didn't know that much about breeding, i guess; the woman said it was the first and last litter she was planning to have. both parents looked really healthy, though. i probably should have just had her reserve him for me until he was eight weeks old, but i was TERRIFIED someone would come and buy him; pugs are in such high demand around here. i've just been extra careful with him. he had his first vet appointment day before yesterday and the doctor said he's in great shape, so i guess he suffered no ill effects.
