| My
tour diaries, Well I haven't really done much of this lately but sense were
in San Diego, and everyone else is out, promoting, booking or other such work.
I'm here to do laundry. So I figured I would fit this in too. This tour has been
amazing for me these past 2 months have been the best. I've meet so many nice
people out there, and this tour has opened my eyes to how nice and hospitable
people can be. I was amazed on how people would open there houses to us, and show
us so much hospitality. I would like to thank everyone that has helped us out
in any way. Thank you so much. Another thing that has amazed me is some of
these Southwestern cities. We have found a lot of crazy things going on. For one
there was Silver City, NM. In which we discovered the tradition of "Cursing"
which was apparently a act of passage. Kids would drive around in there cars blasting
either country music or hip hop. They would drive around and around looking for
parties, mates, or anything else they could find (maybe even some loose change).
Then there was Bisbee, AZ, in which we went to a haunted house. It was a
house next to a graveyard that in the mid 90s had a murder committed in it. It
was creepy but scary and sad at the same time. Then we had the owners of the land
which happened to be a mining company(go figure), stop us and basically ban
us from coming back on that land again. Then we went back to there place and proceeded
to play several hours of GT3. That was an interesting place. Then remembering
back some more to Pensacola, FL. The first night we played there we met a band
called Up Syndrome. These guys played the pop punk that I grew up with. So after
the show we decided to hang out after the show. A couple of the girls suggested
we go to the strip club. So, off I went with them to Lookers. This was an interesting
lil place. But I don't really want to get into that to much so moving on.
Another interesting place was New Orleans, LA. We went down to Bourbon St. It
was like a mini Marti Gras all year long. There weren't as many people but there
were still all the drunken fun. We talked to a lot of interesting people there.
And saw many girls attain beads. But after that we drove of the to the lil camp
ground out side of town that we stayed at and slept "In the van down, by
the river". Well that's about it for my tour diaries. Thanks to everyone
that has helped us out and that has chilled with us. I hope to see everyone again
at the shows. And if you want, drop me an email at [email protected]
Keep in touch everyone. The
